continuously sustaining Sinopec Corp.’s science and technology progress
are our most important tasks. Thus, SRIPT has put forward the “One
Goal, Two R&D Sites” development strategy as shown in the
following:
One goal
SRIPT makes great efforts to build itself into the world-class petrochemical
research center with innovative and competitive strength and to continuously
strengthen and show Sinopec Corp.’s science and technology innovation
and development capabilities for basic organic raw materials and novel
chemical products from now on to 2010.
Two R&D sites
Current research site in the Pudong New Area: to make it become
a SINOPEC Corp.’s petrochemical research facility with the international
competitiveness and features of basic organic raw materials and novel
chemical products.
Chemical engineering & process development site in the Shanghai
Chemical Industry Park: to make it become a SINOPEC Corp.’s process
engineering research facility through the integration of internal and
external resources and by means of marketing, industrial and international
practices. (Under construction)
